Registration for the NWML 2024 season is now open on GameDay!
Existing Players
- Players that were previously registered to the club can re-register using the email address associated with their account. If an email address is not on the system or requires amending the club/player will need to email the RFL for this to be updated on the system prior to the player attempting the re-registration process.
- Once the email address is on the GameDay system the players will be able to follow the process to re-register to the Club. The guide for how to do this can be found here Re-registration Tutorial
New Players
- All new players will be required to register on GameDay using the registration link provided. If a player is under the age of 18 the registration form should be completed by a parent/guardian.
- The Club will receive a notification that a player is trying to register to their Club (has a pending registration to their club). The club do not need to approve this.
- The RFL/relevant League Administrator will approve all new player registrations.
In the event that an email address has changed then the Club must email gamedaysupport@rfl.co.uk who will update the records on the system.

Transfers
- Any player that is either currently, or has been previously registered, with another club, who wishes to transfer to a different Club must contact the Club they are wishing to join who will initiate the transfer.
- The new Club will be required to go on to GameDay and select Participants, request transfer/permit, and follow the process outlined here Requesting Player Transfers. It is important the club select the correct club and league when initiating the transfer, to ensure the correspondence is sent to the correct contacts for approval.
- The player's previous Club will then receive an email and will have to confirm that they approve the transfer request, subject to League transfer rules.
- The relevant League, for which the player is moving from together with the League they are moving to, will then have to approve the transfer.
- Once this is approved the player will receive an email and will have the ability to update their details and confirm their registration to the new Club. The transfer will not be finalised until the transferring player has followed the instructions in the email they will receive. A guide for players on this process can be found here Players Guide to Finalising a Transfer.
Registering Volunteers – Coaches, First Aiders and Club Personnel
It will be a requirement in 2024, as it was last season, to register coaches and key volunteers within your Club, this process is very similar to the one for players.
It is optional for volunteers to become an Our League Active member or donate.
The volunteers that require registering are:
- Chairperson
- Club Welfare Officer
- Secretary
- Licensed Coach
- First Aider
- Game Day Manager
Coaches must be fully licensed (hold a level 2 coaching badge, a current DBS, an SPC qualification and signed the Coaches Code of Conduct) and must have completed the 2024 CoachRight module on Our Learning Zone. Coaches will be directly communicated with regarding this requirement.
